3D 16-bit Pixel House
![]()
Basically its 3D constructed with classic 16-bit game rules! The same basics as the “rule of eight”, color reduction, repetition, and so forth apply in this project. The only new rule is that the new axis also has to obey the rules!

Above is the whole tileset used as textures, and game-like perspectiveless (orthogonal) views of the scene, perfect to create game maps!
I’m gonna experiment on this some more, as the possibilities are enormous!
See you around!

You’ve returned! Really lovely stuff! Reminds me a bit of the Sonic Adventure 2 Green Hill Zone level. Looking forward to further Pixelhouse posts.

Wow that looks very cool. For some odd reason it reminds me of the upcoming game Fez for XBLA.Makes me wonder,do you guys ever plan to make some sort of 3d engine for a game like this for the dc/gp2x?

You guys rule!
Looks phantastic and very interesting. I imagine a Game, where you can switch between classic 2D and modern 3D style…”FEZ” anyone?
The 3D style is also very retro…only the mirror effect for the water maybe looks to modern.
